Update on stimulus payments: 14 states are sending stimulus checks

California residents will receive $1,050 in stimulus checks.

In addition, the state is assisting people with rent or service payments by suspending the sales tax on diesel gas.

The program was funded with a $308 billion state budget by Governor Newsom.

Colorado residents who filed their tax returns for 2021 will receive extra money.

Colorado:

The state will grant a stimulus check if you file by June 30.

Filers will receive a check for $750, and joint filers will receive a check for $1,500.

By September 30, Colorado will send the checks.

The "Relief Rebate" was approved by Delaware. The $300 is a one-time payment from the budget surplus.

Delaware:

A total of $600 will be awarded to joint filers.

Residents in Georgia are receiving some relief money due to a surplus.

Georgia:

For single filers, Georgia offers a $250 rebate, for heads of households, $350, and for joint filers, $500.

Tax rebates of $300 are available to Hawaii residents earning less than $100,000

Hawaii:

Or jointly filing with incomes below $200,000.
