Millions of Americans can claim four direct payments worth up to $1,700 in July - see the exact dates

There is CASH available for Americans - but you have to act quickly.

Residents in various states and cities are receiving payments to offset inflation.

If you've already filed a tax return, you may not need to do anything.

Tax rebates account for many of these.

Some rebate programs, however, require you to fill out an online application.

There are a few payments you might be able to claim this month, some of which have fast-approaching deadlines.

Connecticut parents have just a couple of weeks left to claim their child tax credit benefits.

1. Connecticut – up to $750

Families eligible for the program can receive $250 per child, up to a maximum of three children.

1. $100,000 or less for singles or married couples filing separately

2. Head of household: less than $160,000

3. Less than $200,000 for married couples filing jointly

For every $1,000 over those thresholds, the rebate will be reduced by 10%.

The child tax credit is available to Connecticut parents who claimed at least one child (18 or younger) on their 2021 taxes.

State officials previously said they were in the process of sending postcards to 300,000 households that may be eligible.
