Check the schedule for the new guaranteed direct payments worth $500 per month for a year

A $500 direct payment will be made to hundreds of Wisconsin families each month.

Madison residents had to apply for the cash by July 3, and payments are expected in August or September.

A random lottery will be used to select the 155 families who will receive the checks as part of a guaranteed income scheme.

WISC-TV reports that households eligible for the monthly payments had an income less than 200 percent of

The federal poverty line and a child under 18. According to Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway,

Cash aid can help families buy healthy food, buy school supplies or even get a better job.

The mental and physical health of recipients can also be improved by a guaranteed income."

Amid the cost-of-living and inflation crisis, lawmakers are helping cash-strapped Americans.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that inflation spiked to 9.1 percent in June - the steepest rise since November 1981.

Governor Mike Dunleavy says Alaskans will receive up to $3,200 in the coming weeks.

Alaska's Permanent Fund will provide residents with $2,550. Alaskans will also receive a $650 second relief payment.

Combined payments will be sent electronically starting September 20, and the governor said they will be sent in one check.

A deadline of September 9 has been set for Alaskans to submit their applications. From October 3, paper checks will be deposited.

Alaskans have been waiting seven long years for a fair and substantial dividend,

And it couldn't have come at a better time. As a result of rampant inflation,

Alaskan families will have to pay more for basic needs, like food and medicine, this winter, especially in rural areas.
