Thousands of taxpayers will receive up to $1,700 this week and through mid-July in three different states.

Residents of Maine will begin receiving tax rebate checks this week, 

with an estimated 200,000 checks going out each week for the next few weeks, according to Governor Mill's office. 

About 858,000 Maine residents are eligible for the rebates, which are worth $850 per individual and $1,700 per family.

Residents can track their refund status with Maine's online tool.

The governor's office said that Maine residents who have already filed their tax returns will receive their check by mid-July.

As reported by KKTV 11 News, 3.1 million taxpayers in Colorado could receive tax rebates 

worth at least $500 each. Claim deadlines have been extended to June 30.

Plus, frontline workers in Massachusetts who earn low wages may receive a payment of $500 soon. 

Checks will be mailed to 330,000 workers this month.
