How are Social Security payment dates determined?

Every month, the Social Security Administration sends out payments on three different Wednesdays. 

It depends on your birth date when you'll get your money on Wednesday. Let's take a look at it.

Your payment will be sent out on the second Wednesday of each month if your birthday falls between the 1st and 10th.

On the third Wednesday of the month, your payment will be sent out if your birthday falls between the 11th and 20th.

Your payment will be sent out on the fourth Wednesday of the month if your birthday falls between the 21st and 31st.
