Sharon Osbourne says Ozzy Osbourne will undergo major surgery that will "really determine the rest of his life".

According to Osbourne, she is traveling to Los Angeles in order to support her 73-year-old husband,

who has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease recently as well as mobility issues.

Sharon didn't provide more information about the surgery, but Ozzy recently said he was awaiting neck surgery.

The musician told Classic Rock magazine in May that he was no longer able to walk properly.

He undergoes physical therapy every morning. While I am somewhat better, I am still far from ready to go back on the road.

After an accident involving a quad bike in 2003, Ozzy had to have 15 screws inserted into his spine in 2019 after a fall.

During the operation, he said he suffered nerve damage, and he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2020.

Thankfully, he is not dying of Parkinson's. Since I was a kid, I worked with it," he said.

The album Ordinary Man, which reached No 3 in the UK and No 3 in the US while he was recovering in 2019,

Became his highest-charting solo album. To focus on treating his multiple conditions,

He canceled a North American tour in February 2020.
