Here are the people who will benefit from the Social Security increase in 2022

Social Security recipients and those turning 62 in 2023, the earliest age to claim benefits, 

will receive an extra $200 a month with their benefits.

Even though Social Security's future remains uncertain, some legislators are ensuring 

Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) introduced the Social Security Expansion Act (SSEA) in June.

CBS News reports that the bill would increase Social Security benefits by $200 per recipient
