What will my social security check look like in 2023?

It is possible that recipients of Social Security will not only

see an increase next year, but one that is at the

Highest level in four decades as well. There is a possibility

That Social Security recipients will see not only an increase next year,

But one that is the highest in more than four decades.

Much of this is due to rising inflation.

It will not be known exactly what the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for 2023

Will be until the fall, but the nonpartisan Senior Citizens

League estimates that it will be 10.5%. A 10.5% increase in

Social Security would increase a retiree's monthly benefit by $175.10.

The COLA could reach double digits for the first time since 1982,

When it hit 11.2%, if it goes up by 10.5%.
