Checks for stimulus coming to Coloradans very soon: Are you eligible?

Keep an eye on your mailboxes, Coloradans. According to FOX 31, 

the state Department of Revenue will send 2.4 million checks to residents next month.

To be eligible for the money, you must know the following:

1. Before the deadline for filing your state tax return for 2021, make sure it is filed

3. You must be a Colorado resident for a full year

2. By December 21, 2021, you will be 18 years old

Joint filers will receive $1,500 checks, while individual filers will receive $750 checks.

Since some people have forwarding addresses, the Department of Revenue expects 

these checks to arrive by September 30. Using the informed delivery service of 

the United States Postal Service, you can track the checks. If you requested an extension with the IRS, 

you'll have until Oct. 17 to file, but your check won't arrive until January 21, 2023.
