How many states are sending checks in August as part of the stimulus program?

Throughout the United States, inflation continues to cause major issues for millions of residents. 

It has become more difficult to make day-to-day purchases as gas prices have reached near-unprecedented levels.

The good news is that a lot of people are eligible to receive stimulus payments in various states, which can ease the burden of living costs.

What stimulus payments are being sent out in August?

Direct payments will be offered in nine states in August to help ease the squeeze.

Chicago, Illinois, has 50 dollar transit cards and 150 dollar gas cards up for grabs, and 

applying now would put people in the September lottery draw. You must be at least 18 years old,

have a city sticker with the correct mailing information for your vehicle, and have an income that is at 

or below 100 percent of the Chicago area median income. Colorado citizens can still receive 

up to 1,500 dollars as a summer refund, but they will have to wait. Only those who have an approved extension

Until October 17 are eligible for this. Checks should be mailed to those who filed before June 30.

A check for 300 dollars will be sent to any Delaware resident who filed a tax return in 2020 or 2021.

A one-time payment of 450 dollars will be made to around 60,000 Florida residents.
