How to apply for summer money - six direct payments worth up to $975 that millions of eligible Americans can claim NOW

January 2021 was the last time the federal government sent a nationwide stimulus check.

Apply for one of these six programs today to get money this summer if you qualify based on your location, income, or age

1. Connecticut tax credit – up to $750

Families eligible for the credit can receive $250 per child, but only claim it once for a maximum of three children.

The following income guidelines must be met in order to qualify:

1. Filing separately or filing as a single: $100,000 or less

2. Head of household: $160,000 or less

3. Married filing jointly: $200,000 or less

According to the state, rebates over those thresholds will be reduced by 10%.

This credit is available to Connecticut parents who claimed at least one child age 18 or younger on their 2021 taxes.
