While the federal government is unlikely to issue any more stimulus checks in 2022, some states have begun to do so.

CBS News reports that Californians will receive up to $1,050 in stimulus checks. Gov. 


Gavin Newsom signed a $308 billion state budget earlier this month.

Californians will receive a total of $9.5 billion in inflation relief checks as tax refunds.

Residents of the state who file their tax returns by June 30 will receive a little extra cash by September.


The Colorado Department of Revenue says individuals will receive $750 and joint filers will receive $1,500.

The payments will be received by Jan. 31, 2023, for those who received an extension and filed by Oct. 17.

Delaware began sending "relief rebates" of $300 to taxpayers who filed returns in 2020 due to a budget surplus in May.


Delaware residents received these payments in May, and couples filing jointly can receive $300 each.

Kemp signed legislation that gives rebate payments of $250 to single filers,


$375 to heads of household, and $500 to joint filers.

State budget surpluses also contributed to this stimulus package.
