What you need to know about Fall direct payments deadlines

& why you need to receive your payment by the end of October

Millions of Californians have already received direct payments between $200 and $1,050, with more to come.

On Friday, October 7, Governor Gavin Newsom issued the

first rebates under a deal he struck months ago with state legislators.

According to the California Franchise Tax Board,

Direct deposit recipients should expect payments by the end of October.

The board plans to continue issuing rebates until January 2023.

Californians will receive the payments in the amount of 23 million.

As your rebate will be issued in phases, you should keep track of when you will receive it.
